IAN FORSYTH
Assistant Minister
After retiring from the public service (NSW Courts) in 1995, Ian completed his Theological studies and was ordained a Deacon and then a Priest. He was accepted as a candidate with the Bush Church Aid Society to work in the Diocese of North West Australia where he and his lovely wife Margaret ministered for four years. They then moved to Hay, NSW, where where Ian was appointed Rector of the Parishes of Hay and Balranald. Margaret and Ian retired (again!!!) in 2005 and came to live in Wagga Wagga. Since January 2020, Ian has been working in SWAC serving mainly in St. Alban’s Church, Kooringal, addressing the needs of the older members of this parish at the 10am service on Wednesdays. In Ian's words, "As the years go on we do not know what God has in store for us, but we pray that whatever we do will be to the Glory of God!"
