ONE CHURCH
TWO LOCATIONS
Our church family meets in different congregations across two locations. St. Paul’s at Turvey Park is a multipurpose ministry facility in which our office is located. St. Alban’s is centrally located in the heart of Kooringal and provides office space for our ministry partners.
Our vision is to see people encounter Jesus and find a service that's authentic to their style of worship.
Do you have questions about what a typical church service looks like? No worries! We've answered some FAQ's below.
FIND A SERVICE WHERE YOU CAN BELONG
8AM COMMUNION SERVICE
ST ALBAN'S
Sunday
Our 8am service is a classic Holy Communion service. A typical service includes hymns and songs, liturgy from the Australian Prayer Book, a bible teaching and communion each week. The 8am community is a warm and welcoming group who would love to help you connect with Christ and others.
10AM FAMILY SERVICE
ST PAUL'S
Sunday
Join us each Sunday at St. Paul’s for our 10am All Age Family Service with contemporary music and kid’s church program. On the first Sunday of each month we celebrate Super Sunday where we have a sausage sizzle after the service. We value engaging worship, relevant preaching and providing a place for everyone to belong.
5PM EVENING CHURCH
ST PAUL'S
Sunday
Whilst this is a service for people of all ages, our Evening Service is focused toward the young and young at heart. Here our youth and young adult's gather to worship God, wrestle with relevant questions about faith and think about what it means to be a Christian in a secular world. We love a good game of Kahoot and often have creative segments such as drama, videos and musical items to help us connect with a bible topic. After the service we have dinner for $5 and a game of soccer or handball for those who are brave!
10AM COMMUNION SERVICE
ST ALBAN'S
Wednesday
Join us on Wednesday morning for a traditional Prayer Book communion service. This is a great alternative service for those who can't join us over the weekend! Our morning tea is full of home-baked goodies such as scones, sandwiches and cakes.
4PM MESSY CHURCH
ST PAUL'S
Third Sunday of Every Month
Messy Church is a service for all ages running on the third Sunday of every month at St Paul's. This service runs for an hour from 4:00-5:00pm and finishes with dinner from 5:00-5:30pm (over-lapping with Sunday Evening Church). Messy Church is our new initiative and it's a chance for people to experience church differently. Want to know more about our vision? Follow this link.
FAQ'S ABOUT SERVICES
Never been to a service before and not sure what to expect? No worries! We're here to help make your first experience at SWAC a great one! Here are some details about what goes on.
WHAT HAPPENS IN A SERVICE?
A typical service will include worship songs at the start and end of a service, a bible teaching, prayer and often a creative segment to help us connect with what God is doing in the world. You won't be asked to say or do anything you're uncomfortable with! We want to make your experience a relaxing one and one where you feel welcomed and cared for.
WILL I BE THE ONLY 'NEW' PERSON?
Definitely not! Every week we see many members of the community come through our doors for the first time to check out Jesus and what church is all about. If you are new, we'd love to connect with you and make you feel welcome!
WHAT HAPPENS BEFORE AND AFTER A SERVICE?
When you arrive at church you will be greeted by one of our welcomers who will help you find a seat and get settled in. After the service we invite you to stick around for some food and a coffee, get to know someone and even have a chat to one of our staff members who would love to help you get plugged into our church family.
HOW LONG IS A SERVICE?
All of our services typically run for 1 hour, or at most, 90 minutes.
DO I HAVE TO BRING ANYTHING?
Just yourself! You are welcome to bring a bible which will be beneficial as we read God's word and apply it our life, but there's no stress if you don't have one. In fact, if you don't have a bible, we'd love to gift you one!
ARE CHILDREN WELCOME?
Absolutely! Our SWAC vision is that all people, including children, are discipled and have a place to belong. Children are welcome at all of our services, however our 10am family service on Sunday is specifically catered toward families. This service has programs available for preschoolers, kids and teenagers up to year 8. For older youth, we encourage them to plug into our 5pm Evening Service which is specifically catered towards the young and young at heart.
IS THERE WHEELCHAIR/PRAM ACCESS?
Both of our buildings have full wheelchair and pram access. Our welcome team will help you find a comfortable spot when you arrive. For parents at St Paul's, we have a private room equipped with a change table and a TV with the livestream. There you can find toys, baby change supplies and comfy couches.
CURRENT SERIES
Join us for two epic series!
HOPE25
Wednesday & Sunday Morning Series
In 2025 we're getting ready to do something BIG- we're gearing up to share the HOPE of Jesus to every household, suburb and person in our city of Wagga Wagga. This is an evangelistic vision that every Anglican Church will be participating in come January next year, as well many of our local Churches in our area. We've began this series early to get us thinking about the hope that Jesus brings: Hope for the weary, lost, excluded, guilty, oppressed & suffering.
All Things New
Sundays Evening Series
In our modern world, identity is everything. With so many choices and options than ever before, it's hard to feel certain in who we are and what we're here to do.
But what is there was a way that we could be certain? In the book of Ephesians, Paul shows us that, in Christ, we don't have to 'search' for our identity, but that it's been 'given' to us. In Christ we can know who we are with unshakable certainty, and what more, we can live with courage knowing we have a purpose.
